Joan Amador is a registered nurse and a licensed marriage and family therapist. She treats adults out of the Claremont office. She has 20+ years of experience working with women's issues, anxiety and stress, addictions, developmental and chronic mental illness, abuse, mood disorders, bereavement, communications, life transition, anger management, and self esteem. She believes that everyone has a right to be heard and understood, to have peace and satisfaction with themselves and the life they lead. Each human being has a unique makeup with different needs and issues and it is her utmost priority to be available to assist and maximize the potential for this in a caring and sensitive environment.
