BIOHAVENBHV-7000 is a drug that is being studied for for treating major depressive disorder. One way researchers think about depression is that it is caused by brain hyperactivity resulting from a combination of stress, genetics, and other environmental influences. This hyperactivity occurs on the level of the brain cells (neurons) which fire too frequently in hyperactive, depressed brains.BHV-7000 works through supporting activity of potassium channels along a part of our neurons that can stabilize hyperactivity and balance overall electrical activity of the brain.

This Phase 3 clinical trial is evaluating an investigational,
2-dose-treatment (yes, not a daily pill!) for adults diagnosed with Major Depressive Disorder. The treatment is not taken every day.

This study is designed to assess effectiveness (versus daily, twice-daily, or three-times-daily treatments). Participation lasts several months and includes both in-person and remote visits. In order to qualify for the study, your depression needs to be actually diagnosed, but does not need to be directly related to a specific event from your service.

If you’re living with Major Depressive Disorder (MDD), you’re not weak, and you’re not alone. Many of us who’ve served understand this firsthand. That’s why a veteran-led recruitment team is partnering with a pharmaceutical company committed to helping, offering service members, veterans, and law enforcement professionals the opportunity to participate in a clinical research study evaluating a new treatment designed specifically for us.

Pediatric & Adolescent Clinical Trials

We are offering access to studies focused on discovering innovative methods for diagnosis, treatments, therapies and interventions for children with severe mental health symptoms or neurodevelopmental disorders.

Our dedicated team of researchers and physicians want to help kids with severe mental health symptoms such as Bipolar or Schizophrenia and Neurodevelopmental Disorders such as ASD and their families live happier, healthier lives.

Our Pediatric & Adolescent Research Suites are specifically designed to be a trusted place where children can feel safe and reach their true potential.

Research for children is needed to improve opportunities for those with Severe Mental Health Disorders and ASD-related neurodevelopmental issues.

At IPMG, we work with children & teens to collect firsthand data that helps us to better understand these conditions. With no two cases alike, the information gained from your child’s experience can support the development of life-changing treatments and therapies for your child and potentially for families worldwide.

It’s important for children and families to feel comfortable and safe while at their Clinical Research Visits which can include uncomfortable experiences like a blood draw.

Even adults often may find blood draws or lab draws to be anxiety provoking. We are so proud of our little ones that are brave enough to get routine blood draws and we want to ensure we provide the support needed during these visits.
