Angela Coleman is a licensed Marriage & Family Therapist in the State of California. Ms.Coleman received a Master of Science degree from The California State University Dominguez Hills in 1998 in Marriage, Family & Child Counseling. Ms. Coleman received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Loyola Marymount University.
Angela Coleman has spent several years working in a variety of professional capacities in the field of mental health. Ms. Coleman has spent the last 7 years providing emergency clinical assessment and crisis services to individuals of all ages suffering from suicide, depression, PTSD and at times psychotic disorders at The Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health. In the past, Ms. Coleman has also provided individual therapy to children & teenagers at local community mental health facilities in the Antelope Valley community.
Most recently, Ms. Coleman Joined the IPMG and is providing individual therapy to adults, children, (ages 10-18) and teenagers on a part-time basis. Techniques employed include CBT, Psychodynamic, Solution Focus and Client Centered as well as others. Ms. Coleman enjoys sharing her knowledge, skills, support and guidance with individuals seeking to acquire coping skills in the treatment of symptoms of depression, anxiety, stress, PTSD, anger management and adjustment issues. Addressing issues unique to women is also a strength.
