Dr. Roger L. Girion is a Clinical Psychologist in the State of California. He is the past President and CEO of Antelope Valley Mental Health Professionals, Lancaster California. He is currently on the Medical Staff at the Antelope Valley Hospital where he served as Executive Director of Mental Health Services. Presently, Dr. Girion is contracted with Inland Psychiatric Medical Group, where he manages their Lancaster offices. Dr. Girion is an Associate Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at Western University for the Health Sciences, Pomona California. He has received United States Congressional Recognition as well as having a California State Assembly Resolution in his honor for his work in the Mental Health field.
Dr. Girion served as a Navy Corpsman during Vietnam. He was a Reserve Police Officer with Pomona Police Department and a Captain with Montebello Fire Department. As a Captain with Montebello Fire Department, he took a Fire and Rescue Crew to 911, Twin Towers in New York. Dr. Girion has over 40 years’ experience in Mental Health, with a strong clinical interest in Neuropsychological Assessment, treating PTSD, Military, and First Responders.
